Svetol is rich in Chlorogenic acids. A dose of 400 mg of Svetol corresponds to the equivalent of 3 to 6 cups of coffee (depending on the quality of the coffee and the method of preparation). However, Chlorogenic acids are not the only active components in Svetol . Svetol also contains caffeic acid, well known for its anti-oxidant power. The studies carried out by Naturex have shown that caffeic acid possesses a strong anti-oxidant power, notably limiting the oxidation of lipids in the liver.
