Green Coffee Bean Extract is produced from the cherries of the Coffea Arabica tree. The cherries are dried in the sun for weeks until they release the “green coffee bean”, a natural compound that is low in caffeine but high in chlorogenic acids, active ingredients to help in weight loss by controlling glucose and encouraging the body to burn fat.
Scientific Research: A Study on green coffee bean was published in January 2012 in the Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome and Obesity Journal on the effects of Green Coffee Bean in a test environment. The researchers followed a group of 16 adults (8 Males and 8 Females aged 22-46) that exhibited pre-obesity levels with a BMI of greater than 25. Participants were supplemented with a special green coffee bean extract of chlorogenic acids of at least 45% at different dosages (either 700 or 1050 milligrams per day) for 22 weeks.
