Studies have shown that green coffee bean extract, containing the key ingredient chlorogenic acid, can aid fat and weight loss in a safe and natural way.
These capsules are formulated to give 800mg of coffee bean extract as recommended by Dr Oz.
As a trial, 1,050 mg of green coffee bean extract was given to 16 overweight adults in their 20s and monitored their weight, exercise regimen, diet, heart rate and blood pressure for 22 weeks.
With no change to diet or exercise, the subjects lost an average of 17 lbs (10.5%) in overall body weight without any harmful side effects. This study was presented by the American Chemical Society meeting in San Diego earlier this year.
Vinson indicates that, coffee beans, if un-roasted maintains a chemical called chlorogenic acid which is responsible for the weight loss. Hence extracts taken directly from coffee beans prior to being roasted is what gives these capsules their special affect.
